The site of the Highlands' new Gaelic School - Bunsgoil Ghaidhlig Inbhir Nis - has been inspected by its interim parent council and head teacher.

The school is being built near Inverness's Royal Academy and Highland Council said it is due to open to pupils in August.

Iain MacIlleChiar said the school would help to boost Gaelic learning.

The 4m project is being funded under a Public Private Partnership programme. Janet MacLeod will be head teacher.
