Yell said it planned to recruit from in and around Glasgow
Yell, the international directories business, has launched a recruitment drive to expand its Glasgow operation with the creation of 90 jobs.

The telesales consultants, to be based in St Vincent Street, will specialise in selling advertising on Yell's online service Yell.com.

Recruitment will bring the Glasgow-based workforce up to 250.

Yell said the drive, due to be completed by the spring, underlined its commitment to Scotland.

Keith Innes, Yell's UK head of telesales, said: "The choice of Glasgow for our new online sales specialists reflects the high regard we have for the quality and professionalism of our existing employees recruited from in and around the city in the past."
