Three routes were withdrawn by Stagecoach because of attacks |
Stagecoach said it has had no further attacks on its buses since they were reinstated on a troubled estate. The company withdrew its evening timetable in Methilhill, Fife, after a series of attacks by youths.
In one, a woman was treated in hospital after a brick was thrown at the window of a bus she was travelling on.
Fife Constabulary agreed to send officers onto buses to deter youngsters from carrying out attacks. Stagecoach has said it has had no recent trouble.
The first of the three routes which were pulled was reinstated with the threat that any repeat incident would see services being withdrawn permanently.
The remaining services were reinstated at the end of January.
Services 13, 48 and 49 had all been withdrawn from the estate after 1800 GMT.
Stagecoach has said that the route was now back to normal.
