Farmers plan renewed milk protest
Farmers are planning to blockade the Arla Foods plant at Lockerbie in protest at milk price changes brought in by the company.

It follows similar demonstrations held last year outside supermarkets.

One of the protest organisers - Stranraer farmer John Watson - said the blockade would show the strength of feeling amongst milk producers.

Arla said the price reduction to its suppliers took into account the steady decline in its commodity returns.
