Dairy farmers from the south blockaded a supermarket depot as part of a long-running protest over prices. About 150 farmers staged the protest in Berkshire outside a Waitrose depot on Thursday night.
Pressure group Farmers for Action, which organised the protest, said its members were being paid about 18p per litre while it cost them 20p to produce the milk.
Protestors claim that, in the last year, 12 farmers have gone out of business in Berkshire, 15 in Hampshire and six on the Isle of Wight.

Supermarkets have agreed increased prices should be passed on to producers but the farmers say they are not getting the extra. Farmers for Action spokesman John Lillywhite said: "(We want them to) just pay us some money that we really need to make a decent living and a working profit."
Waitrose spokeswoman Sarah Speakman met campaigners at the protest and appealed to the farmers: "Please come and see us.
"We are always on the end of a phone. We would like to talk to you and meet with you. "
