Mayor of London Boris Johnson has criticised attempts by the Lib Dems and Labour to make a deal on governing the country, he called the talks "spectacular and scandalous".

He said there was "ludicrous skulduggery behind the scenes" and a "strong Conservative government" was required.

Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg have all been in their Commons offices, as talks continue between Labour and the Lib Dems.
