MPs protest at expenses payback

The backlash from MPs forced to pay back thousands of pounds in expenses is getting underway.

Around 50 Labour MPs held a meeting in Westminster to express their anger to Labour's Chief Whip Nick Brown.

Many are complaining that the man in charge of the review - Sir Thomas Legg - has changed the rules retrospectively.

The Prime Minister is said to have been heckled at a meeting of Labour MPs last night when he urged them to cooperate.

Meanwhile, David Cameron said any Tory MPs who ignored calls to repay their expenses would be barred from standing at the general election.

Nick Robinson reports.
