Attorney general's role 'untenable'

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling has told the BBC the government's credibility has been damaged by the controversy over Baroness Scotland.

The attorney general is to be fined £5,000 after being found to have breached laws designed to stop illegal immigrants being employed.

The Conservative MP said her role was "untenable" especially as Baroness Scotland had pushed for strong laws regarding the employment of illegal immigrants.
