Gordon Brown has defended the continuing presence of British forces in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister insisted the UK would not be safe from terrorism unless the army continued to tackle the Taliban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan.
His speech came as the bodies of two more British soldiers killed in Afghanistan were brought home.
Hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects as the coffins were driven through Wootton Bassett.
