Bury MP to speak to police

David Chaytor, Labour MP for Bury North, has said he will co-operate fully with a police investigation into the alleged misuse of expenses.

He is one of a small number of MPs and peers who are under scrutiny from Scotland Yard. He is said to have claimed interest payments for a mortgage that had already been paid-off.
