Bradshaw lends support to Brown

The new Culture Secretary, Ben Bradshaw, has said he thinks Gordon Brown is the "best qualified" man to lead the country out of the economic recession.

Speaking to BBC News, he also admitted the local election results had been terrible for Labour, but urged his colleagues to "rally around and unite".
