Appeal to slow down by roadworks
The team behind the A500 roadworks in Stoke-on-Trent is appealing to drivers to slow down.

A 30mph limit has been put in place while two new underpasses are built at the Stoke Road and City Road roundabouts.

But engineers say drivers are still going too fast.

They have also admitted that signs warning about speed cameras which have appeared on the D Road in the city were put up by mistake.
