Roadworks plan to keep it quiet
People living close to the site of major road improvements are to get insulated windows and doors to cut noise disturbance.

The Pathfinder Project aims to replace two major roundabouts on the A500 in Stoke-on-Trent.

As work gets underway the Highways Agency has drawn up a map of houses likely to be affected.

It covers people living within 300 metres of the road scheme.

Those affected by the work will be offered special windows and may have noise insulated doors installed to keep noise from the roadworks to a minimum.

Around 200 homes are expected to be affected.

The map and more details are available from the Highways Agency, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Hanley Library.
