Petition call for safety barriers
The crash site
The council has carried out some road improvements
The families of two men who died in a crash near Weston-Super-Mare are handing in a petition to back their campaign for safety barriers.

Thomas Broomhall and Julian Bowen, both 19, died in April after their car plunged off a cliff on the Toll Road.

Their relatives plan to take the petition to the local council and MP, Brian Cotter in Westminster.

North Somerset District Council has carried out road improvements, but says barriers are not viable.

It is waiting on a report before it makes any decisions on extra safety measures.
