Parking fees back in town centre
Parking charges in a historic town centre will be re-instated after a row with traders and residents.

Retailers in Ludlow said trade had reduced since parking meters were installed in early December.

Shropshire County Council suspended charges after the solar-powered meters did not produce enough energy and failed to work.

Charges will begin again on Monday but the council is to reveiwing the scheme and is getting the views of businesses.

The council will reveal what progress has been made at a meeting on 8 February.
