A drugs drop-in advice centre is being set up in Telford by a woman whose son died of a heroin overdose. Janet Groves from Allscott founded the Telford Drugs Anonymous Movement 12 years ago after her son Mark became addicted to drugs.
He died last November and money raised since then is being used to launch a drop-in service named after him.
It will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 1230 until 1530 BST at the YMCA in Wellington.
Ms Groves said the facility is open to anyone who needs a friend or advice and she hopes to attract grants in the future to keep the centre running.
