| Council leaders are promising full consultations before a final decision is made about new gypsy sites. A South Shropshire District Council sub committee will meet in the New Year to draw up a shortlist from 17 possible sites put forward by officials. The council has set a deadline of next November to relocate travellers who are camped on an unauthorised site at Richards Castle near Ludlow. Planning director James Caird says all views will be given full consideration.
