Warning over shed burglary spree
People living in Shropshire are being warned about the number of burglaries from sheds and garages.

Police say there have been 160 such raids in the county since March, excluding the Telford and Wrekin area.

The offenders are targeting goods such as lawnmowers, drills and strimmers, golf clubs and bicycles. The total value of goods taken is about 120,000.

Many items were taken from unlocked sheds and garages and police are asking people to improve their security.

Police say Shrewsbury is the worst-affected area in the county.
