The mother of a Shropshire Army officer cadet who went missing during a French Alps expedition is distributing postcards of him to British truckers. Blake Hartley, 25, from Golding Hall, disappeared on 8 August after a night out in Chamonix with his comrades from Sandhurst Military Academy
Cards appealing for information will be given to drivers travelling across Europe, by Blake's mother Sally Perrin.
They will be distributed at stops along routes on the continent.
Search called off
Mrs Perrin has had 5,000 postcards printed featuring a picture of Blake and a list of organisations to contact with information.
They have been printed in three languages and will be given to truck drivers travelling through France and Spain.
Mrs Perrin travelled to the Alpine region to join a six-day police search for her son, shortly after he went missing in August.
It was eventually called off after helicopters, dogs and ground search parties failed to find any trace of the cadet.
Mrs Perrin has also set up a website appealing to anyone heading to Europe, especially France or Spain, to log on and keep an eye out for him.
