Prime public toilet seeks buyer
toilet in West Bridgford
The property has planning permission for an office block
A dilapidated toilet block near the Trent Bridge cricket ground is on the market with a 150,000 asking price.

The site on Musters Road in West Bridgford has planning consent for a four-storey office block.

Another toilet block in West Bridgford sold for 60,000 in 2004 and was turned into a hairdressing salon.

Estate agent Paul Giles, from Savills, said: "It would be a very expensive toilet block if that is was what you were going to use it for."

He added: "It is in the centre of West Bridgford and an excellent location for an office block and it has planning consent for offices.

"It is overgrown and sorry-looking at the moment but I am convinced the finished article will be wonderful."

The property failed to make the reserve price at an auction on Thursday but Mr Giles said there were still several interested parties.
