Work has started on the next phase of the new Pennine Bridleway through the Yorkshire Dales. A section of the trail will be given a facelift as part of the huge project to create a route for riders and walkers. The Pennine Bridleway will eventually link Derbyshire with Northumberland - a distance of 350 miles. The first Dales section - the Settle Loop - opened last August. Now the stretch between Feizor and Austwick is being restored.
