Power cut hits hundreds of homes

Hundreds of homes in the south of Norfolk have been without power following a problem with an overhead line.

Electricity in 1,200 properties around Bracon Ash, Mulbarton and Stoke Holy Cross saw their electricity go off just before 1100 GMT.

It is understood most have been reconnected but engineers are still working to reconnect 300 homes.

In December, homes in isolated areas experienced three nights without power.
