Compensation wait over water cuts

The boil water notice continued in place for more than a week
Hundreds of people in Norfolk have not received compensation four months after they were left without water.

Water supplies to the market town of North Walsham were cut for 10 days in June after the parasite cryptosporidium was suspected to have entered supplies.

Anglian Water said it would give 25 compensation to all the households affected by the contamination, but several hundred are still waiting.

The company said outstanding payments should be made in the coming weeks.
