A former Formula One racing driver and an architect are among those being awarded honorary degrees by the University of East Anglia. The former racing driver Martin Brundle, who was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk, receives an Honorary Doctor of Civil Law degree.
Also honoured is innovative architect Prof Will Alsop, whose work includes the Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre.
They will receive awards during ceremonies beginning on Tuesday.
UEA registrar and secretary Brian Summers said: "Each year, UEA honours individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the arts, science or learning, or to the university and the region.
"This year we bring together a wonderfully diverse group of talented people who richly deserve this recognition."
