Cleveland Campbell denies grievous bodily harm |
The trial of an Emmerdale soap opera actor accused of breaking a man's jaw has been postponed. Cleveland Campbell, 28, has denied assault charges over allegedly punching Daniel Stable, 20, at a party in Rochdale on 7 November last year.
Both men had been at the party thrown by Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson, who plays Lisa Hunter in the soap.
The trial date will be set at a hearing on 25 September, Bolton Crown Court heard.
A date is expected to be set for January or February 2007.
Manchester-born Campbell, who plays antiques dealer Danny Daggert in the ITV1 soap, pleaded not guilty to assault causing grievous bodily harm.
He remains on unconditional bail.
