Cleveland Campbell is accused of grievous bodily harm
An actor in ITV1's soap opera Emmerdale has denied breaking a man's jaw after a party thrown by a Hollyoaks actress.

Cleveland Campbell, 28, is accused of punching 20-year-old Daniel Stable in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester, in November.

Mr Campbell, who plays antiques dealer Danny Daggert, was given unconditional bail until 31 July.

Mr Campbell and Mr Stable had both been guests at the 21st birthday party thrown by Gemma Atkinson, who plays Lisa Hunter in Hollyoaks.

Broken jaw

The incident is said to have taken place at the Village Hotel and Leisure Club last November.

Electrician Mr Stable, 20, suffered a broken jaw outside the bar at the Waterfold business park.

Another man charged in connection with the same incident was dealt with at a separate hearing.

Mr Campbell, who is accused of grievous bodily harm, will appear again at Rochdale Magistrates' Court prior to committal to crown court.
