Call for homeless shelter in town
A charity for the homeless wants the government to tackle a shortage of night shelters in Lincolnshire.

The plea, by Centrepoint Outreach in Boston, comes amid fears there is an increasing number of people sleeping rough in the town.

The charity said its figures show as many as 40 people are doing so a month.

Members of Centrepoint Outreach, the local church community and the local housing authority are to meet on Friday to see if a shelter can be established.

Centrepoint said it has seen a dramatic rise in the numbers of people sleeping rough in the past few years.
