Fears for site of town's hospital
A campaign has started to save an old hospital building in Spalding that could be demolished after a sell-off.

The Johnson Hospital was bequeathed to the town in 1881, but is to be replaced by a 24m building combining all the town's medical facilities.

If it goes onto the market there are fears it could later be demolished.

East Lincolnshire Primary Care Trust said it understood how strongly some people felt about the building, but it had to dispose of the old hospital.
