Beach look out scheme launched
A public meeting is being held to discuss plans to make the Lincolnshire coast safer.

The National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) wants to set up a watchtower at Ingoldmells Point, but it needs 50 volunteers to man it.

The look out would be manned by teams for 10 hours a day throughout the year.

The NCI has said there have been many cases where their 27 existing stations across the country have helped people who have got into difficulty.

The public meeting is at Ingoldmells Parish Council Offices at 1930 BST on Wednesday.

Anyone who is interested in getting involved is urged to go along.
