Ambulance trust praised in survey
Lincolnshire Ambulance service has been rated highly in a new patient survey.

The Healthcare Commission, an independent health watchdog found 97% of patients had trust and confidence in ambulance staff.

In total about 850 patients shared their experiences of care, with 98% of respondents saying the call handler listened to them carefully.

The commission has welcomed the findings, but added that surveys on their own will not bring improvements.

Of those surveyed, 88% of callers said ambulance staff gave advice about what to do before the emergency crews arrived.
