Ambulance workers given pay rise
A pay dispute between Lincolnshire's ambulance workers and their employers has come to an end.

An increase of 3.2% has been agreed, which means paramedics will earn about 22,000 a year.

Health transport workers will receive a 4.5% increase, bringing their salary up to just over 11,000.

Local paramedic John Webb said it was time the ambulance service in Lincolnshire caught up with the rest of the country.

He said: "Hopefully with the improvements that are being made, we'll be able to keep up with the pace of the NHS, because we have been behind for several years."
