Bus firm quizzed over price rise
A meeting is being held between city councillors and a bus firm in Leicester to discuss an increase in fares.

Arriva, the city's largest operator has put up fares twice in a year.

Some passengers have complained they were not given enough notice of an increase in prices, but managers insist notices were displayed.

City council leader Roger Blackmore invited the managing director of Arriva to the meeting to explain why the price rise is necessary.

Arriva has confirmed both its managing director and the head of operations will be attending the meeting on Monday evening.
