Stone attacks damage city buses
Two buses have been damaged in separate attacks in an area of Leicester.

In the first attack at about 2050 BST on 13 September, a rock was thrown at a bus, which was stationary on Charnor Road in New Parks, smashing a window.

Two days later at 2110 BST stones were thrown at a bus from the New Parks area travelling on Charnor Road, breaking two windows.

Police believe a group of youths on bikes were responsible for the damage and are appealing for witnesses.

While no-one was hurt, the police have described the incidents as "mindless acts of vandalism".
