Volunteers needed for park life
Volunteer wardens are being sought to work at parks in Leicester alongside the city council's own officers.

Civic leaders hope the new recruits will become a bridge between users and the council's parks services.

The volunteers will be asked to fill out monthly report forms and liaise with parks staff on issues raised with them by other users.

Senior parks officer Barry Ingram said it would enable the council to deal with problems more quickly.
