A temporary toilet block installed at Western Park in Leicester has been destroyed by fire. The block, costing 1,200, was only put up in July to meet the increase in demand over the summer.
It was previously targeted by vandals who ripped off the doors within a day of it being set up beside a play area.
The fire is being treated as arson and has been condemned by the city council which has no plans to replace the facility.
The toilets had been repaired by park wardens after the initial attack.
