Burnley FC has given its support to the police campaign |
Police are urging victims of hate crime to blow the whistle on offenders at the latest in a series of special football ground surgeries. Lancashire Police and Burnley Football Club have joined forces for the meetings at Turf Moor.
Officers want anyone who feels they are singled out for abuse because of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, faith or race, to talk to them.
The second surgery is being held at the ground on Thursday night.
Two more are planned on 9 and 23 February.
Dean Ramsdale, from Burnley FC, said: "We're keen to show hate crime the red card and we're delighted to be supporting this initiative."
