Red card for hate crime offenders
Burnley's Turf Moor
Burnley FC is supporting the police campaign
Police are urging victims of hate crime to blow the whistle on offenders at special football ground surgeries.

Lancashire Police and Burnley Football Club have joined forces for the meetings at Turf Moor.

Officers want anyone who feels they are singled out for abuse because of age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, faith or race, to talk to them.

Pc Bev Taylor, who is organising the four events, said: "Don't suffer in silence."

The meetings in the leisure complex opposite the James Hargreaves stand are on 12 and 26 January, 9 and 23 February.

Dean Ramsdale, from Burnley FC, said: "We're keen to show hate crime the red card and we're delighted to be supporting this initiative."
