The trio were crucial to England's victory
Gloucester Rugby Club's World Cup heroes will receive the Freedom of the City on Thursday.

The historic event will be marked by a ceremony at the club's Kingsholm ground.

Andy Gomersall, Trevor Woodman and Phil Vickery are the players who helped the team to victory.

On Thursday, they will be voted "Honorary Freemen" and are in good company - Lord Nelson was the first Freeman of Gloucester in 1802.

The ceremony will be shown on a big screen, and the players will have another chance to get their hands on the William Webb Ellis trophy.
