A beach hut with no electricity, running water or toilet is being offered for a six figure sum in Dorset. At 100,000 it is about the same price as a one-bedroom appartment in nearby Bournemouth.
But the future owners of the 14ft x 7ft 6in brick hut at Canford Cliffs in Poole, Dorset will not even be allowed to sleep there.
That has not put off 75 interested buyers who want the freehold and their own piece of seaside.
"We've had more interest in this beach hut than any one-bedroom flat on our books, which is just phenomenal," Danny Fudge-Harman of Mitchells Estate Agents said.
'The new St Tropez'
The hut has views of nearby Old Harry Rocks and across to the Isle of Wight, but its proximity to Poole's Sandbanks beach pushes up the price.

Sandbanks, according to some estimates, is the fourth most expensive place to live in the world, with a garage selling there for almost 100 000 in the last week.
"It's just the location, and with the extended beaches down there it's almost like the new St Tropez," Mr Fudge-Harman said.
Most of those interested have been young families, but business people with pay bonuses to invest have also made inquiries, he said.
