A new route is being launched from Bournemouth Airport. On Tuesday easyJet announced that it would be operating daily flights from the Dorset airport to Geneva between 15 December and 14 April.
Ray Webster, easyJet chief executive, said the new flight would be a boost for skiing enthusiasts from the area.
The airport said that the new route, along with new flights already launched by Jet2.com and Thomsonfly, would boost passengers to a million this year.
