Curry nights for tsunami appeal
Restaurants are organising curry evenings to raise funds for the survivors of the Asian tsunami appeal.

Two Indian restaurants, one in Hampshire and the other in Dorset, are holding curry nights on Sunday in aid of the disaster fund.

The event at Balti House in Weymouth is being hosted by the Dorset South MP Jim Knight and the minimum donation is 20.

Chutney's Indian Cuisine in Southampton is asking for donations of 12 and is hoping to raise 1,000.

Mr Knight said: "People can come out for a nice meal have fun and give money at the same time.

"We just need 200 people to come along and we would raise 4,000."
