The estate agents admit there has not been much interest in the hut |
A hut without power or water which is being advertised as a perfect artistic retreat is on the market for 50,000. The wooden hut on Chesil Beach, Dorset, is accessible only by sea but potential buyers will not be allowed to sleep in it over night.
The property is being marketed as an ideal opportunity for artists or poets to work in peace and quiet.
A spokesman from Roger Mcghee estate agents denied the price was unrealistic but did admit few offers had been made.
He told BBC News Online: "There hasn't been a great deal of interest but we have had a couple of serious offers.
"I don't think the price is too high, for the right person this beach hut is a bargain."
