Beach huts go on sale for 30,000
Beach hut on Avon Beach
Owners will not be able to sleep in the huts because of regulations
Beach huts that have no running water, electricity or windows have gone on the market for 29,375.

The huts on Avon Beach, near Christchurch in Dorset, measure just 13ft x 7ft and are made of timber.

The Avon Beach Company says there has been a great deal of interest in the huts with several already being sold.

But while the huts may have "a superb south coast location" potential buyers should be aware they cannot sleep in them because of council regulations.

A spokeswoman from the Avon Beach Company said the location of the beach huts was proving to be very tempting with a lot of interested callers.

But Christchurch resident Chris Thompson said: "These beach huts have no windows, just a double front door. In fact they look exactly like a large garden shed, they're even painted green."
