'Tombstoning death is a warning'
Youngsters taking part in 'tombstoning'
The coastguard says young people are ignoring warnings
A verdict of accidental death was recorded on Thursday on a man who died when he jumped from a cliff in a stunt known as "tombstoning."

Gary Fildew, 23, drowned after leaping from cliffs into the sea at Long Quarry Point, Babbacombe, Torquay, on 19 June.

Coroner Ian Arrow said he hoped the publicity surrounding the death would enable others to "carefully reflect on their activities."

A friend said Mr Fildew may have been 75ft up when he jumped into the sea.

The emergency services later found him face down. He was pronounced dead at Torbay Hospital.

A post-mortem examination found he had an alcohol level of 294 milligrammes per 100 millilitres of blood - the legal limit is 80 milligrammes.
