Florence Seccombe died from a single stab wound |
Police in Plymouth have mounted an all-night operation to help find the killer of pensioner Florence Seccombe.Mrs Seccombe, 69, who was known as Flo, was stabbed last week while sleeping rough at Bretonside Bus Station.
Detectives were out in force at the bus station on Friday night, exactly one week after the murder.
The police spoke to bus passengers, club-goers and anyone in the vicinity of the bus station to try to get fresh information which could lead them to her killer.

About 100 questionnaires were filled out and the information gathered is now being assessed in the incident room. There is no indication yet of the quality of the new information and whether it could provide the key to solving the murder.
But detectives are certain someone must have seen the offender entering or leaving the bus station during the early hours of last Saturday morning.
As police continue their inquiries, one of Mrs Seccombe's four daughters urged members of the public to help police catch her mother's killer.
Hounded out
Police are investigating claims by neighbours that she was hounded out of her home in Plymouth's Prince Rock area by local youths.
The daughter, who wished to be known only as Pearl, said in a statement that she had lost contact as a young child with her mother.
She said: "To find out about my mother's death, especially in these circumstances, has been a huge shock to all of us.
"I am still coming to terms with the manner in which she died, and fully support the police in whatever investigations they need to make, to find the person responsible for what I can only describe as a horrific crime."
An inquest into Mrs Seccombe's death was opened and adjourned on Thursday.
