A murder inquiry has been launched after an elderly woman was found stabbed in a Plymouth city centre bus station. A body was found at Bretonside Bus Station at about 0600 BST on Saturday.
A post-mortem examination showed she had died from a single stab wound to the neck.
The police are struggling to identify the woman.
"The woman's identity still remains a mystery" said a police spokeswoman.
The woman was frail, five feet tall, in her 70s, and was wearing a black hooded anorak, a black knee-length skirt and beige socks.

She also had on a roll neck wine-coloured jumper, a blue or purple long-sleeve sweatshirt and slip-on shoes. The bus station was cordoned off for most of Saturday while scenes of crime officers carried out an investigation of the area.
Police have set up an incident room at Crownhill police station and increased the number of officers working on the case.
A number of leads are being investigated after information from the public.
Police are urging anyone who was in the area of the bus station between 1800 BST on Friday and 0600 BST on Saturday to contact Crimestoppers.
