Drink was the cause of hundreds of arrests in a summer crackdown |
Pubs serving children and drunks were caught out in a clampdown on alcohol-related problems in Derbyshire. Some 300 people were arrested, and another 76 received fixed penalty notices, in the operation.
Some 999 visits were made to licensed premises in the bid to deal with rowdy, threatening or drunken behaviour.
Police, fire and rescue, East Midlands Ambulance Service and council licensing teams visited 719 licensed premises over the summer.
The campaign ran for eight weeks until 31 August in Alfreton, Buxton, Chesterfield and Derby.

Assistant Chief Constable Mick Creedon said the campaign proved to be "very effective" and people will have noticed an increase in high visibility patrols.
He said: "We've been targeting areas that have been identified as hot-spots for this sort of trouble but at the same time we've been trying to provide that sense of reassurance to the public.
"By working together with the licensing trade and the likes of trading standards and other emergency services we can focus our joint efforts on tackling problems such as underage drinking, rowdy behaviour and rogue landlords and pub managers."
He said the end of the campaign was not the end of the work and the force was committed to reducing violent crime and making Derbyshire a safer place.
