Body of missing walker discovered
The body of a walker has been recovered from the Lake District fells.

The man, who has not yet been named but was from Cumbria, was reported missing on Tuesday after walking in the Red Screes area of Hartsop Fell.

Members of the Langdale Mountain Rescue Team recovered the body late on Tuesday after an extensive search.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police appealed for information from other walkers who may have been in the area. The coroner has been informed.
