Fourteen members of a mountain rescue team were involved in helping an injured walker in Cumbria. The Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team was called to help the ambulance service on Saturday evening.
A 21-year-old man from Leicestershire had suffered a suspected fractured leg while walking on the fell path above Glenridding Beck.
He was treated at the scene by the team and was then taken by stretcher to Greenside Mines.
He was then transferred to the Cumberland Infirmary, in Carlisle, for further treatment.
