An investigation is under way after 15 wagons of a freight train carrying clay derailed on a Cornwall branch line. The wagons at the rear of the 32-wagon train derailed on Prideaux Viaduct, near St Blazey on the Newquay branch line, at about midday on Wednesday.
There were no injuries but the Newquay line will be closed until the wagons are removed and any damage to the line is repaired, Network Rail said.
The company said it could take a number of days for the line to fully reopen.
